The Fund’s founder, Frank Trautmann, intentionally designed this Trust as a vehicle for others to make gifts to what is in effect a permanent endowment in support of Baxter State Park.  We welcome unrestricted and unconditional donations.

The Trust is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  As a result, all contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.  The Trust is also licensed as a charitable organization by the Maine Department of Professional and Financial Regulation.
